Service Catalog
Use this page to find the canonical Service Lasso service repos. Each service
row links to the source repo and can load that repo's live README.md into the
viewer without copying the README into this docs repo.
The catalog table is populated from docs/static/data/service-catalog.json.
Update that JSON file to add, remove, rename, or regroup catalog rows without
editing the table component.
Runtime API consumers can also read host-specific compatibility data from
GET /api/services. Each service summary includes a compatibility block
with the current host platform, declared artifact platforms, required runtime
providers, declared ports, requirement status, and operator-safe blockers.
Each service summary also includes a catalogProvenance block derived from
the checked-in manifest: source path, release repo/tag, artifact asset names,
checksum presence, and packaged runtime version. The provenance block is
read-only catalog metadata for UI and drift checks.
This is read-only catalog metadata; it does not change install or start
behavior.
Core runtime catalog APIs expose the approved catalog and GitHub release-backed version choices for Service Admin:
GET /api/catalog/packages: list approved catalog packages. Supportsquery/q,category, andtagfilters.GET /api/catalog/packages/{packageId}: fetch one approved package entry.GET /api/catalog/packages/{packageId}/releases: fetch GitHub Releases for a package repo, select the latest stable default version, and mark the matching service archive asset from the catalog rule.
By default, the runtime reads
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/service-lasso/service-catalog/develop/catalog.json
and GitHub release metadata from https://api.github.com. Operators can point a
demo or test lane at another approved source with SERVICE_LASSO_CATALOG_URL
and SERVICE_LASSO_GITHUB_API_BASE_URL.
This catalog points to the canonical service, provider, and reference app repos. Filter the table by service, repo, group, or status, then use the README action to load the live upstream README in-page without copying that content into the Service Lasso docs repo.
Catalog rows are loaded from /data/service-catalog.json, so updates only require changing the JSON data file.
